Galaxy-wide Assisted Transportation Engine
Introduction:GATE is a piece of software for the ship's computer that will allow it to travel continuously toward a specific destination until stopped by the pilot or an obstacle. It automatically utilizes subwarp and slip drives, and, if available and patched, any other form of propulsion.
Usage:
GATE <destination>
Destination can be a sector number, a set of galactic coordinates, or a destination from NIRP (if that upgrade is present).
GATE RESUME
Automatically begins vectoring toward the last destination used with the GATE-command.
GATE REVERSE
Automatically begins vectoring away from the last destination used with the GATE-command. This feature requires a NAVI Unit to be installed.
GATE ETA
Calculates an estimated time of arrival for the destination. This feature requires the NIRP upgrade.
